Common questions
My basement smells musty in summer. Is that the air conditioning?
Usually not. It is normally humidity in the basement itself, and a dehumidifier fixes what a service call on the cooling will not.
My furnace is rusting and it is not that old. Why?
Persistent damp. We will look at where the moisture is coming from as well as the furnace, because replacing the unit without addressing the basement buys you the same problem again.
